On the apps we identify your phone with an anonymous device id so free tips work without an account. If you create an account we store your email address and, if you use a password, a securely hashed copy of it. If you sign in with Google or Apple we receive your email address and a unique account id from them.
App purchases are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Website purchases are processed by Whop (whop.com), our payment provider, which handles cards and mobile money such as M-Pesa. We never see or store your card details, and the Whop privacy policy applies to the payment itself, including the billing details you give at checkout. We keep a record of what you bought, when it expires and the payment reference, which we use to provide access, prevent fraud and handle disputes.
Website purchases belong to your account. They only appear in the app when you sign in to the same account there, or enter the one-time link code shown in your account page. Codes expire after ten minutes and work once.
If you allow notifications we store a push token and subscribe your device to the alert topics you choose. You can change this at any time in the app settings or your browser.
We keep sign-in records and basic technical information, such as IP addresses, to protect accounts, stop abuse and detect tips being shared or resold.
We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your settings. We do not use advertising cookies. Partner links may set their own cookies once you leave our site.
You can ask us to export or delete your account and data at any time using the contact details on the contact page. Deleting your account ends any VIP access on it.
